Of course, I’m more dismayed by journalists’ seeming lack of originality than by the actual antipathy that’s occurring across the political spectrum. After all, this is a culture war. Some wars, especially this one, are worth fighting. Calling for a truce right after losing a major battle would be akin to admitting defeat. I, for one, am not prepared to concede to the Godless Church of Liberalism.
